Flexible and Simplified Risk Assessments

Business users can establish and manage different risk scoring perspectives. At the same time, the application rolls up risk scores from across the organization to provide a cohesive, enterprise view of risk at the top, enabling targeted audit planning. The application also displays all risk assessments in a spreadsheet-like format which makes it easy to read, track, and enter data.

Collaborative Audit Execution

The MetricStream application provides a series of rich audit work-paper functions, as well as enhanced audit checklists with improved cross-referencing capabilities. The application also enables auditors to share risk and control information with other business functions such as the SOX compliance team, or the control testing team, in order to minimize redundancies in data.  

Offline Audits and Mobile Audit App

Many auditors use MetricStream's Audit Briefcase to conduct fieldwork at remote sites without access to the corporate network. They can download their tasks, as well as reference data and related reports, and go out into remote areas without connectivity, enter their audit findings as usual, and then upload and synchronize this data at a later time. Automated pre-sync and post-sync notifications help ensure that the audit data has been successfully uploaded.

In addition, MetricStream mobile apps offer advanced data synchronization and communication capabilities for auditors to manage both online and offline field audits using tablets and handheld devices. The app seamlessly leverages native device capabilities such as camera, GPS, and voice recordings to enrich audit data -- for example, photos taken with tablets can be easily attached to audit findings reports and geo coordinates are automatically captured for field audits.
