Passwords are still the most frequently used authentication mechanism in organizations today, and Gartner estimates that 40 percent of all helpdesk calls are password-related. Gartner’s report also states that password management tools are simple to implement and very quickly yield a positive ROI that can easily be expressed in solid figures by reducing password reset calls by up to 70 percent.
