Steton, Inc., a leading provider of mobile and cloud-based applications for quality and performance management, announced its new Corrective Action Management 2.0 solution to help companies effectively manage compliance issues. With the solution, Steton will improve the presentation, usability, speed and performance when working with non-compliant audit results.

“We are thrilled to announce the development of Corrective Action Management 2.0 and look forward to seeing system improvements for our current and future customers when it is released,” said Martin Tidwell, Steton President and CEO. “We are confident that the updates to the system will provide a more intuitive user experience and help our customers learn about and fix issues much more quickly.”

Corrective Action Management 2.0 will make managing Action Plans much more intuitive and include an updated, simplified interface, improved action plan management software and a consolidated action plan approval process. The improved interface will help users establish rules for determining the priority of non-compliance issues beforehand, provide them with a myriad of options for viewing the issues and specify what type of action needs to be taken to resolve the non-compliant condition for quick, corrective action.

“The upgraded tool will allow users to specify the approval hierarchy and then send out a notification via email that there is an Action Plan to be approved,” said Tres White, Steton VP of Engineering. “To increase accountability within the organization, users will be able to set the system to require evidence of completion and sign-off and establish event- and rules-based notifications and escalation procedures.”

In addition, users will be able to fix problems more quickly with automatic alerts for non-compliance items and when issues have been remedied. Detailed non-compliance reports can be produced to help determine whether or not corrective action was implemented. Lastly, users can track progress over time by reviewing the level to which the corrective action has been implemented, and oversee the change until it is completed.

The Corrective Action Management 2.0 upgrade will be available to customers at the end of Q4 of 2014.
