Morrison & Foerster is pleased to announce that Hisateru Goda has been elected partner.

Hisateru Goda, is a member of the Corporate Group in the Business Department and a resident in the Tokyo office. Mr. Goda works with strategic and financial buyers in a number of sectors on mergers and acquisitions transactions in the Japanese market and also represents issuers and underwriters on capital markets transactions in Japan.

He received his LL.B. from the University of Tokyo, graduated from the Legal Training and Research Institute of Japan, and received his LL.M from Columbia Law School. He is qualified to practice in New York and is also a Bengoshi admitted to practice in Japan. He joined the firm in 2002.
