Coalfire has announced that Mark Weatherford, the former top cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security, has joined the Coalfire Advisory Board. “One of the biggest threats to organizations, public or private, is a cyberattack,” said Rick Dakin, CEO of Coalfire. “We are lucky to have Mark joining our Advisory Board and bring his insight and experience to our clients, partners and industry associates. Mark has been a Coalfire client, a trusted advisor to our firm and an influential thought leader at the highest levels in our industry. We look forward to his playing an integral role as part of the leadership team moving forward.”

Weatherford has held a number of top IT security posts.
