Parson Consulting, the leading financial management consultancy, today announced that Rick Fumo has been appointed CEO of Parson Consulting, effective immediately. In this new role, Fumo will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the global business. Parson Consulting currently has offices in London, Paris and Sydney, in addition to its 12 U.S locations, and plans to further expand in Europe and Asia during the next two years.

Fumo joined Parson in November 2000 as managing director of the Chicago office. In his most recent role as president of Parson Consulting North America, Fumo was responsible for developing national and local market strategies as well as refining the company's service delivery approach in the U.S. Prior to joining Parson Consulting, Mr. Fumo spent 28 years with Arthur Andersen LLP serving the needs of emerging businesses.

Under Fumo?s leadership, Parson Consulting achieved 85 percent revenue growth in 2004 vs. the previous year, as well as a client satisfaction level of more than 90 percent. ?Rick has been instrumental in setting the direction of Parson Consulting since joining the firm,? said Kevin Parry, chairman of Parson Consulting, and chief executive of Management Consulting Group PLC, Parson?s UK-based parent company.
