BasWare, the leader in enterprise purchase to pay automation software, has introduced BasWare Adapter for EMC Documentum a new offering in its Enterprise Purchase to Pay (EPP) suite. The new product has received the ?Designed for EMC Documentum? accreditation, which demonstrates that the adapter has successfully met a comprehensive set of criteria for good design, development and implementation.

Combining content management capabilities of the Documentum platform with BasWare Adapter for EMC Documentum increases the accessibility and visibility of documents such as financial reports, invoices and statements across distributed environments and increases content re-use. The result is greater alignment and increased content re-use between an organization and its financial department, thus enabling organizations to make better business decisions, lower operational costs and improve efficiencies.

?By providing BasWare Adapter for EMC Documentum as a packaged application based on the EMC Documentum platform, BasWare is strengthening its leadership position in the industry in the area of finance process automation,? said Rob Tarkoff, Senior Vice President of Strategy, Business Development and Alliances, EMC Software Group. ?The offering?s status as ?Designed for EMC-accredited? demonstrates their commitment to the Documentum platform and the quality of their offering.?

BasWare Adapter for EMC Documentum received design accreditation by meeting high standards for application design, development, configuration, installation processes and overall quality. As a member of the EMC Documentum Application Developer Program, BasWare received specialized design consultation and guidance, along with access to dedicated EMC content management technical resources.

?BasWare is extremely pleased to join the EMC Documentum Application Developer Program and we are proud to have attained the ?Designed for EMC Documentum? status for our adapter,? said Matti Rusi, Senior Vice President for Global Operations, BasWare. ?This attests to the quality of our offering and provides further assurance to our customers. In the recent ?Imaging and Workflow Automation, 2006? report by technology research and consulting firm PayStream Advisors, both EMC and BasWare were positioned as leaders in Imaging and Workflow Automation (IWA).?

?We expect to realize significant benefits from our collaboration with a joint solution that already has been proven as a killer application in financial automation. We are pleased to be teaming with EMC and look forward to bringing more high-value offerings to the market,? Rusi added.
