Connect Enterprise Purchase to Pay Solutions With Any ERP System

Jani Kaskinen
Vice President
BasWare

BasWare, the leader in enterprise purchase to pay automation software, has announced that it has introduced BasWare anyERP Adapter, a solution that enables the rapid integration of BasWare financial process automation products with any of the more than 120 different ERP/accounting systems now in use. The BasWare anyERP Adapter currently integrates with all of the most popular ERP/accounting systems, including those from SAP, Oracle, Lawson and BAAN. Combined with the BasWare Enterprise Purchase to Pay portfolio, the new product provides a high level of automation for procurement and invoice workflows.

BasWare anyERP Adapter replaces previous vendor-specific adapters ? such as BasWare SAP Adapter (XI integration), BasWare Lawson Adapter, BasWare Oracle Adapter, BasWare BAAN Adapter and BasWare Template Adapter ? to provide customers with a flexible, robust and scalable tool that shortens implementation cycles and provides faster ROI. BasWare?s agile Enterprise Purchase to Pay solutions sit on top of one or multiple ERP systems. The BasWare anyERP Adapter enables smooth integration, allowing information to flow quickly and seamlessly to and from BasWare?s solutions and back-end ERP systems. This ensures that information is consistent throughout the financial processes and enables accurate reporting. Additionally, by providing immediate access to key information residing on ERPs, BasWare anyERP Adapter provides companies with critical return on existing ERP investments.

The BasWare anyERP Adapter is built on the BasWare Solution Platform. Based on Microsoft .NET technology, the BasWare Solution Platform will provide the foundation for all BasWare's next-generation financial process automation applications. The platform incorporates Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to encapsulate services that can be moved securely over the network.

?Our customers have complex IT infrastructures that typically use ERP systems from multiple vendors,? said Jani Kaskinen, vice president, sales and marketing, BasWare. ?They have been asking us for a solution that works across any of their ERP systems and that?s what anyERP does. Our new product enables the rapid and robust integration of our Enterprise Purchase to Pay solutions with virtually any ERP system. Companies can extract key data from multiple ERP systems simultaneously and seamlessly, with our solutions serving as a critical point of connection for these disparate systems.

?We built BasWare anyERP Adapter on Microsoft?s .Net technology because we recognized its strength and versatility, and are using it as the underlying technology for a common integration platform across all of our products. Our anyERP Adapter is the first in our product line to leverage the benefits of this technology,? Kaskinen added.

BasWare has received dual SAP certification for its BasWare anyERP Adapter ?The SAP? Certified Interface and Certified for SAP? NetWeaver. (TM) These endorsements guarantee businesses seamless integration of BasWare?s Enterprise Purchase to Pay applications within customers? ERP systems. The BasWare anyERP Adapter software and the BasWare solutions platform also have achieved Microsoft?s Certified for Windows endorsement.
