XIFIN Inc., the leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions for diagnostic laboratories, announced recenly that it has successfully completed a SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) Type II  audit.

Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  A SAS 70 audit is widely respected because it demonstrates that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities, which generally includes controls over information technology and related processes. Federal regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) require corporations to audit the internal controls of their suppliers, including those that provide on-demand services. XIFIN’s SAS 70 Type II audit was performed by independent auditor,  SAS70 Solutions, Certified Public Accountants, who has verified and validated that the organization is actively following these procedures, policies, and controls.

“This certification demonstrates our commitment to deliver on our goal of being the partner of choice for Revenue Cycle Management solutions, said Lale White, XIFIN’s CEO and Executive Chairman”.  “It’s just one of the many ways we provide accountability to our clients and assure them that the data they entrust us with are safeguarded”.

XIFIN delivers a highly automated, Web-based application with integrated infrastructure and business process services to support laboratory Accounts Receivable and financial management operations. XIFIN targets process errors that lead to bad debt, rework and compliance liabilities, through its closed-loop, rules-driven workflow automation.
