Protiviti Names New Managing Directors



Consulting experience spans breadth of services, including IT audit, risk management, information security and privacy and internal audit

Protiviti (www.protiviti.com), a global consulting firm, today announced that seven of its current directors, including Tyler Chase and Andy Willis (Houston), David Lehmann (Stamford, Conn.), KG Purushothaman (Bangalore, India), Brad Rachmiel (Chicago), Ryan Rubin (London) and Andrew Struthers-Kennedy (Baltimore/Washington), have been promoted to the position of managing director.

"They have each made significant contributions to our overall goals, and continue to serve our clients by helping them solve critical business problems in their respective areas of expertise.”

New Managing Directors

Tyler Chase works within the firm’s IT Consulting unit in the Managing the Business of IT segment. He has more than 14 years of experience in internal audit and risk management, specializing in IT process and security auditing, ERP controls assessments and IT infrastructure. Chase has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in management information systems from Texas A&M University.

David Lehmann has more than 14 years experience as an IT audit and risk management professional. A leader in the firm’s Northeast IT audit practice, Lehmann has focused on the financial services industry for most of his career. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Binghamton University.  

KG Purushothaman has provided business risk consulting to companies in the telecom, real estate, infrastructure and media industries for more than 14 years. Since joining Protiviti in 2008, Purushothaman has worked for key telecom clients and was also instrumental in designing the architecture for complex tools in revenue assurance and fraud management to help solve telecom service providers’ complex problems. He is a chartered accountant, cost accountant and certified derivative analyst.

Brad Rachmiel has 19 years of public accounting and consulting experience. He joined Protiviti in 2002 and is the leader of the firm’s Public Company Transformation practice for the central U.S. region. Rachmiel has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Indiana University. 

Ryan Rubin joined Protiviti in 2007 and leads the IT Consulting Security and Privacy practice in the U.K. He has more than 15 years of consulting and management experience advising global organizations on information security risk management. He has both a master’s and an honor’s degree in computer science, as well as a bachelor’s degree in computer science and computational applied mathematics from the University of Witwatersrand. 

Andrew Struthers-Kennedy is a seasoned professional who specializes in internal audit and risk management. He focuses primarily on the delivery of technology consulting, internal audit and financial advisory services to clients. Struthers-Kennedy has a master’s degree in information security from the University of Westminster and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Bristol.

Andy Willis is part of Protiviti’s Internal Audit and Financial Advisory solution. With more than 17 years of experience, he specializes in internal audit and risk management with a focus on businesses in the energy and utilities industry. Willis has a master’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Birmingham University.
