From the inception of the annual Compliance and Ethics Awards the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) has honored people and organizations that recognize the value of, have made significant contributions to, and champion compliance and ethics in business. This year we recognize a new group of individuals and organizations leaving their mark on the profession. The 10th Annual International Compliance and Ethics Awards will be presented during the SCCE's 2014 Compliance & Ethics Institute, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, on Monday evening, September 15, 2014 to:

Donna C. Boehme, Principal, Compliance Strategists LLC
Ms. Boehme, with 20+ years experience designing and managing compliance and ethics solutions, is being honored for her tireless dedication and unwavering support for the independence of the compliance and ethics profession.

Daniel R. Levinson, Inspector General, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Inspector General Levinson is the senior official responsible for audits, evaluations, investigations, compliance initiatives, and law enforcement efforts to combat Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse. He is being recognized for his belief in and support of compliance programs to help reduce health care fraud as well as for his willingness to reach out to the compliance community.

Smith Debnam LLP, a law firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina
Featured in the March 2014 issue of Compliance & Ethics Professional magazine, Smith Debnam LLP is the first law firm in the U.S. to implement a compliance program. Jennifer Quillen, the firm's compliance officer, will be on hand to accept the award for this important milestone.

The WSJ's Risk and Compliance Journal.
The Wall Street Journal's Risk and Compliance Journal is receiving the award for its comprehensive coverage of the compliance profession. The award will be accepted by Ben DiPietro, Editor/Reporter, Risk & Compliance Journal.
