Avondale Partners Launches No Cost Shareholder Value Seminars

IPO PROGRAM SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 6, 2005

Jeff Nahley
Sr. Managing Director
Avondale Partners

Jeff Nahley, senior managing director and head of the investment banking group of Avondale Partners, LLC, today announced that the company has launched a series of shareholder value seminars designed for senior executives of privately held and publicly traded companies. Avondale Partners, a national investment banking firm, is headquartered in Nashville.

The first seminar in the series ? ?Should I take my company public?? ? is a half-day program that will be held Wednesday, April 6, at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville. This event will target private company executives and directors considering an initial public offering (IPO). The IPO program is co-sponsored by Bass Berry & Sims, Bowne of Nashville, Burgundy Group Advertising, Business Tennessee Magazine, Corporate Communications and Ernst & Young. A second seminar, ?Selling or recapitalizing your company,? is scheduled for the fall.

?CEOs, CFOs and directors of companies considering an IPO should carefully weigh the pros and cons of going public and understand what?s involved in the process,? said Nahley. ?There are special accounting and reporting procedures, operating issues and corporate culture considerations that must be evaluated. Sarbanes-Oxley has changed the landscape for initial public offerings and ongoing public company compliance. We see a real benefit to bringing together the companies that provide guidance for IPOs and offering private company executives an overview of what they can expect. It?s a great line-up of participants and sponsors.?

The IPO seminar will feature leading company executives who have either taken companies public or helped navigate the public company landscape. The format for the April 6 seminar includes a morning of legal, accounting and investment banking sessions followed by a luncheon panel discussion. The April 6 panel members will include Mike Culotta, CFO of Nashville-based LifePoint Hospitals (NASDAQ:LPNT); Gene Ellis, former CFO of Atlanta-based PRG-Schultz (NASDAQ:PRGX); Joey Jacobs, CEO of Nashville-based Psychiatric Solutions (NASDAQ:PSYS); and Clay Whitson, CFO of Nashville-based iPayment (NASDAQ:IPMT).

?The panel discussion will be a highlight of the program,? said Nahley. ?These individuals have successfully taken one or more companies public in recent years and have operated within the rigors of the new public securities environment. It should be a lively discussion.?

More information and registration information can be found at the Avondale Partners web site, www.avondalepartnersllc.com . The seminars are offered at no charge; however, attendance at the IPO event will be limited to senior executives including CEOs, CFOs, or directors of private companies.
