McDonald Named New Executive Team Member

Advanced Analogic Technologies, Inc. (AnalogicTech), a developer of low-voltage power management integrated circuits and devices, today announced the appointment of Brian R. McDonald as vice president of worldwide finance and chief financial officer. McDonald is responsible for all finance, human resource, and information technology functions at AnalogicTech including investor relations, internal corporate governance, and global ERP (enterprise resource planning) system support.

With more than 25 years of experience, McDonald has established a distinguished career in Silicon Valley and the analog semiconductor business. Prior to joining AnalogicTech, McDonald was vice president of administration and CFO for Monolithic Power Systems, where he was instrumental in closing a $17 million Series D private funding round. Previously, McDonald served as vice president of finance and CFO at Elantec Semiconductor, a company that produces high-performance analog ICs. In 2002, McDonald played a key role in negotiation and management of the acquisition of Elantec by Intersil for $1.3 billion.
