Axena Appoints Robert Decker to VP of Sales & Marketing



Expands Sales Team to Support Growing Market Demand for Corporate Governance Software and Consulting Services

Axena, a provider of corporate governance software and services, announced today the appointment of Robert Decker as vice president of sales and marketing. As the company prepares for rapid growth and increased demand for its Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and corporate governance solutions, Axena has further expanded its sales team with the appointments of Galit Kantor and Michael Sunwoo, both seasoned software sales veterans.

Decker has more than 25 years of experience in multi-national sales and marketing, as well as product and strategic planning in software, hardware and services. As vice president of sales and marketing, he is responsible for overseeing the development of incremental revenue streams across all lines of Axena's business .

Decker joined Axena from Paisley Consulting, a business accountability software company, where he was director of sales and marketing, responsible for sales, marketing, business development and account management.

Prior to Paisley, Decker founded Sales and Marketing Pros, LLC, a consulting practice to help small, medium and enterprise businesses maximize their sales revenues. He has also held several business development positions within IBM Corp., where he executed C-level executive sales engagements for IBM software and services solutions. Earlier in his career, Decker held various sales management and business development positions at Digital Equipment Corp., AmeriData, Shell Oil and Xerox Corp.
