Innovative New Product Re-Defines Credit Management Software

LiveCapital a maker of credit management software, today announced the launch of DecisionExpress, an innovative new product that dramatically enhances the way companies manage business credit. DecisionExpress fundamentally re-defines credit management software by combining unique functionality with a distinctive approach to product delivery and pricing.

DecisionExpress is easy to set up and maintain. The product is provided over the Internet as an on demand service. No hardware or software needs to be installed and minimal IT support is required. In addition, the product is easy for credit professionals to customize through the use of intuitive online "wizards." Users can be up and running within hours.

DecisionExpress enables the credit process to be entirely paperless. New credit applications are submitted and evaluated online. All account information, including scores, payment history, notes and bureau data, is accessible from a one-screen electronic credit file. Information can also be electronically routed within the credit department or between credit and sales. As a result, credit department productivity is significantly improved.

DecisionExpress proactively alerts the credit department to changes in customer credit quality. Account portfolios are automatically monitored based on custom rules that users define. These rules can analyze changes or trends in both internal payment information and external bureau data. Consequently, credit professionals can better manage risk because they get warned earlier when problems emerge.

DecisionExpress is highly cost-effective. Fees are charged on a subscription basis and typically average $2,000 per month. Moreover, the product helps minimize 3rd party data costs. Less expensive data packets can be ordered rather than full reports. In addition, data can be ordered from more economical sources such as Experian and Equifax as well as from D&B.

"To be blunt, credit management software products have always been painful to implement, functionally limited, hard to use and expensive," said Mike Grossman, CEO of LiveCapital. "It's time for an innovative new solution that changes the rules of the game."

Ten major companies have subscribed to DecisionExpress over the past 2 months in anticipation of today's launch, including Siebel Systems, Inc., a leading provider of business applications software, Publishers Group West, the largest US distributor of books from independent publishing companies, Acushnet, a leading maker of golf equipment, and Direct Alliance, a business process outsourcing organization and subsidiary of Insight Enterprises.

"DecisionExpress represents a giant leap forward in terms of meeting the needs of today's credit professionals," said John Donovan, Siebel's Senior Director of Credit and Collections. "The product dovetails nicely with our strategic plan for e-business solutions, and will also be extremely helpful in facilitating Sarbanes-Oxley compliance."

LiveCapital's new DecisionExpress builds on 5 years of experience in the credit management software market. The company's original product, DE Enterprise, is used by major corporations such as Siemens, Waste Management and PC Connection to process thousands of credit transactions per day.
